- I am a special education teacher at an amazing school in a small town in Texas. My first few years were spent in a middle school/junior high setting. I then took 8 years off to raise some pretty great kids. Let me just say...8 years is a long time to take off in the educational setting! I returned to the classroom in 2010, but my new friends were much smaller. I teach K-4 special ed. resource and inclusion and I must say...I am loving the "tiny people"! I can't imagine doing anything else.

Are you sick? I'm usually behind you on posts! I hope everyone is ok. Tried to call You Monday, but I forgot your cell number. Hopefully I will talk to you soon. We usually never go This long without a 2 hour conversation. I miss It!
Yes, things have been really busy here, the kids all seem to have big school projects to do, volunteering at book fairs, kindergarten homeroom mom, kindergarten pow wow planning, and then soccer games etc. It seems lately that we work opposite days. I sub Monday and Thursday this week. That pretty much does it for our visiting. LOL!
