The Mom that meets you half way from home in Friona when you have to be at work and you need someone to take your allergy ridden child for the day.
The Mom that knows each of your kids favorite foods, their favorite shows, and their favorite snacks...just because she's interested.
The Mom who is already packed and waiting when she gets the call that you are bedridden for 4 days and you need SERIOUS help.
The Mom who buys you all matching dish towels for your kitchen because she knows you have other priorities.
The Mom that taught us that thank you notes are important.
The Mom that encourages you to climb the highest mountain, to be proud of your strengths, and learn from your mistakes.
The Mom that remembers the little things.
What have you gained from loving and being loved by your mom?
I've been lucky that I have been loved by many generations of caring mothers - from great grandmothers , to the very best grandmothers, to my wonderful Mother in Law, Jan. Today is a day to remember how lucky we are...
